Renault has revised its plan for the company offering electric cars in the UK and Europe, previously it was planning on offering 90% of its lineup as electric only by 2030 but now it has committed to offer 100% of its models on sale in the UK and Europe as electric only.

Other companies such as Fiat, Ford and Peugeot have also committed to the same timeline, of being an electric only company, at least in the UK and Europe by 2030. Renault will also be revamping the Alpine brand, to be electric only too but focusing on performance cars.

Luca de Meo, the CEO of Renault said that Dacia will be going electric only at the last possible date, due to the companies focus on cost effective cars and the price structure.

Luca de Meo has also spoken out in support of the 2030 ban of new ICE car sales in the UK.
