The all new Hyundai Ioniq 6 will go up for orders here in the UK at the start of 2023, with prices starting at £46,745 in the UK for the rear wheel drive model. Hyundai has has also released more details about the specification of the car. Ioniq 6 will go on sale at the start of next year, with a wide range of options, trims and motors.
Trim Levels
At the start of the range is the Premium trim, which is £46,745 and comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, electric mirrors, heated electric seats, privacy glass and a large 12.3-inch infotainment screen with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto as well as the built in satellite navigation system.
Jumping up to the Ultimate trim costs £50,245 and adds eco-leather seats, electric sunroof, head-up drivers display, remote start, and Bose audio system. For safety, this also adds blind spot monitoring, parking collision avoidance and surround-view camera.
These two new trim levels join the existing Ioniq 6 First Edition which has been on sale in the UK since earlier this year. The first edition is on sale currently for £54,995 and was limited to just 2,000 units in the UK and other EU countries.
Specs
In terms of range, the Ioniq 6 has either a 53kWh or 77.4kWh battery, with up to 379 miles on a charge. The smaller battery pack has 226bhp, whereas the long-range version can be had with either 226bhp or 329bhp. Hyundai has gone all out with the charging here, using a new 800V system which enables the car to charge at up to 350kW, getting you from 10-80% in 18 minutes.
Availability
The new Hyundai Ioniq 6 is on sale now in the First Edition trim, but the new cheaper trims will be available in 2023.
