Ubiquiti announces it is working on PTZ Tracking

Ubiquiti has in the last few days confirmed that it is now working on a tracking feature for the UniFi Protect PTZ camera. The camera went on sale back at the end of 2020 and despite multiple requests, it has taken up until now for Ubiquiti to give any comment on whether or not the feature was coming. Ubiquiti shared a post on the official forums with a YouTube video talking about the new feature, which is “coming soon.”

Ubiquiti’s video showed the camera following a person on the street, it isn’t clear if this will come to vehicles, pets and other items but it is good to see this being worked on.
