Amazon "Prime Day" will feature membership and item discounts

Amazon is actually 20 years old today, to celebrate the retail giant is offering £20 off the cost of Prime for the first 12 months as well as masses of discounts; according to Amazon “more than Black Friday.”

“Prime Day,” as July 15th is called will give Amazon a chance to sell more things to members of Prime and the actual cost of the membership will down from £79 to £59 between now and midnight July 8th. Actually now, Prime is more tempting than it has ever been with one-hour delivery in London, Prime Instant Video, one day delivery, Kindle Owner’s Lending Library and unlimited photo storage – as well as more being added all the time.

On July 15th, Amazon will be posting new deals every ten minutes. Customers in the US, UK, Japan, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Canada will have access to the deals, although you have to be a member of Prime.

The Vice President of Amazon Prime Grey Geely announced some details about the launch saying that

“Prime Day is a one-day only event filed with more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members around the globe.

“Members tell us every day how much they love Prime and we will keep making it better.”
