CES 2022: Chipolo launches new wallet card that works with Apple Find My

Today at CES 2022, Chipolo has launched its second product for Apple’s Find My network, the new CARD Spot which is a very thin card designed to fit in a wallet. It works only with the Find My network and can be pre-ordered now.

The CARD Spot is 2.4mm thin and the battery lasts around two years and due to its thinness, the battery is not replaceable or rechargeable. However, Chipolo will be operating a renewal program that’ll allow people to purchase a new CARD Spot for 50% off and send the old one back, using a pre-paid envelope.

Like the AirTag from Apple and the ONE Spot that Chipolo launched last year, the CARD Spot uses Apple’s vast Find My network, leveraging all the Apple devices out in the wild to help pin point its location. The card can also play a sound if you do happen to lose your wallet, and it works with the left behind notifications on watchOS and iOS – so you’ll always know if you have left it behind.

The Chipolo CARD Spot is up now for pre-order, with prices starting at £30 in the UK and $35 in the US.
