Ford introduces new limited California Edition Mustang

Ford has announced a brand new limited edition version of the Mustang with some upgraded equipment and some design changes. The ‘California Edition’ is on sale now in the UK with a starting price of £52,105.

The ‘California Edition’ is a hark back to the original Ford Mustang from 1967 and features ebony black honeycomb front grille, black side stripes, special badging finished in red and black, 19-inch alloy wheels and decals. This version is only available as a convertible too. Ford has also improved the aerodynamics with a larger spoiler.

Inside, there are heated seats in red and grey as well as a 12-in digital driver display.

In terms of engines, Ford is only offering the Mustang ‘California Edition’ with the iconic 5.0-litre V8, with 443bhp, 390lb ft of torque and the capability to do 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds.
