Ubiquiti launches two new PoE adaptors for Protect WiFi Cameras

Ubiquiti has this week finally launched the new PoE adaptors for Protect WiFi Cameras to general availability. There are two models, one for the G4 Doorbell Pro and one for the G4 Instant, but should also work with the G3 Instant. The adaptor allows the cameras to be powered up by PoE and also, route the data connection over the ethernet cable, without having to rely on the wireless network connection, which in some situations can be unreliable outdoors.

The reason for the two different models is for the waterproofing on the G4 Doorbell Pro, which on the cable has a small blue surround to form a secure seal.

Both models are on sale now from the official Ubiquiti Store in the US and the EU/UK.
