Peugeot has recently revealed the pricing for its new all-electric E-308 hatchback. The new car joins other models from the company which have been recently refreshed, including the E-208 and the brand new E-3008. The new 308 will come in a variety of powertrains, including petrol, hybrid and this new all-electric model. Being part of the larger Stellantis group, the new E-308 shares most of its core underpinnings with the Vauxhall Astra Electric.

The base E-308 starts from £40,050 in the UK, £255 more than the base model Astra. This Allure trim comes with 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, reversing camera and a huge double touchscreen infotainment system. Other trim levels get Alcantara seats, LED headlights and more.

In terms of the battery, Peugeot is using a shared Stellantis EMP2 platform and we’ve seen this used in a wide variety of models from the group. We get a 54kWh batter pack with a range of 257 miles, Peugeot is estimating an efficiency rating of 4.8 miles per kWh here. 100kW charging is supported, which allows 20-80% in just 25 minutes.

The new E-308 is on sale now in the UK, prices from £40,050.
