Soon, Apple will have to start offering longer warranties on its products when sold in Spain to customers. Warranties will have to be for three years total soon as the Spanish Council of Ministers has approved the change. There will also be some new regulations in place to govern how long companies must keep spares for too, extending that from five to ten years.

The policy will come into effect soon, and it will mean companies that sell electronic or digital goods as well as devices will have to adhere to this new law.
