Ford is planning to release a lot of new electric vehicles in the next two years, with seven new models to be released in Europe by the year 2024. The company will be releasing vans, MPVs, crossovers and some sport models too. Ford will even launch an electric version of the smallest Courier van.

Ford’s ‘medium sized’ crossover will be the very first mass-produced passenger electric vehicle from the new Cologne factory in Germany. The car will have five seats and a decent range of 310 miles. This car will be revealed later this year and will start being made in 2023.

For the commercial market, Ford already dominates the UK for vans and the company will have the Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom available next year, which is huge. A lot of fleet companies use the Transit Custom already. The smaller Transit Courier and the Tourneo Courier are due in 2024.

Ford will also electrify the Puma crossover, which Ford says is its most popular passenger vehicle in Europe. The EV version is also due in 2024.
