The next generation of the iPhone is just around the corner and we are now starting to see some more rumours and leaks trickle into the news cycle. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could come with some new colour matched USB-C charging cables, just like the iMac, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro which all now have colour matched charging cables.
User on X @MajinBuOfficial shared some new images of what looked to be official Apple charging cables. but was unable to verify the source of where the images came from. However, Apple device prototype collector “Kosutami” spoke to MacRumors and said that the cables look to have passed some design validation tests
This is supposed to be the iPhone 15 USB C cable, I found this photo online but currently I can't trace the resource, so I can't be sure if it's true or not pic.twitter.com/bTILwlxxG5

It is unclear at this stage whether or not Apple will be including colour matched cables with the iPhone 15 Pro models or just the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Historically, the rubber coated Apple charging cables havent been the most durable if not looked after properly. Moving to the braided cable dieting should be a lot more durable and Apple has been using braided cables more often in some Mac devices.
