Apple has announced a new upcoming event, where the company is expected to announce the all new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and Apple Watch Series 9. The event will take place on 12th September at 10am Pacific Time (6pm BST) and it’ll have some people in physical attendance from the media. However, the event is expected to be prerecorded.

September has been the time where Apple unveils the latest generation of iPhone for the last ten years or so. This time, we are expecting the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max. We can expect pretty much the same design as the iPhone 14, but all models are expected to have the dynamic island and a new 5G chip. However, the biggest news will be USB-C, which every new iPhone this year is understood to have, replacing the Lightning port after 11 years.

For the internals, we can expect the new A17 chip, which will be Apple’s first 3 nanometer design.

On the outside, it is understood that Apple will add a new Action button, similar to that found on the Apple Watch Ultra and will replace the mute switch.

For the Apple Watch, not much is yet known but Apple is expected to update the Apple Watch Ultra this year.

The event will take place on 12th September at 10am Pacific Time (6pm BST) and will be live streamed on YouTube.
