Spotify has launched a new update to its Apple Watch app today which has overhauled the entire experience, with addition of improved offline playback support. Spotify has said that the new updated app has a new “improved listening experience” with improved browsing and podcasts.

The new updated app has an updated “Your Library” page, making it easier to download music for offline listening. Useful for the small screen of the Apple Watch the artwork has been made larger with new animations.

“Starting today, we’re rolling out a new and improved listening experience for Spotify users on Apple Watch. This means you’ll be able to more easily browse and choose your favorite music and podcasts in Your Library, as well as more quickly download music to listen offline from the watch itself.”

The new Spotify app for Apple Watch is out now. However, Spotify Hi-Fi was launched around 600 days ago and isn’t available on the Apple Watch. For comparison, Apple Music has been offering lossless files for everyone subscribed.
