Rockstar has announced that the first trailer for the highly anticipated next edition of Grand Theft Auto will arrive in early December. At the time of writing, it has been over ten years since GTA V was released and the longest time between releases we have ever seen in the GTA franchise. Undoubtedly, the next release will be Grand Theft Auto VI and this nicely coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Rockstar company, which was founded in 1998.
While it is anticipated that the next game will be called Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar has not yet made any sort of announcement as to the name of the next edition of GTA. We do know however, thanks to some gargantuan leaks that the main character in the game will be a female for the first time, named Lucia as well as some other details.
As to the actual release of the game, we probably won’t see this until sometime in 2024.
