Today, Apple has released the next version of watchOS for the Apple Watch, watchOS 6.2 beta has been released to developers only at this stage, this is just shortly after watchOS 6.1.2 was released publicly last week. The only change so far with watchOS 6.2 is the addition of in app purchases support.

Apple sold more smartphones last quarter than every other manufacturer

Apple now has 1.4 billion active devices worldwide

During Apple’s quarterly earnings call yesterday, the company announced that it now has 1.4 billion active devices worldwide. Which is a huge jump from this time last year when the company had 900 million active iPhones. HomePod is launching soon in India

On Tuesday this week, Apple released a very minor update to the HomePod with 13.3.1 but what wasn’t in the release notes, was the addition of support for Indian English for Siri on the HomePod. Apple releases watchOS 6.1.2

Along with all the other operating system updates Apple released today, watchOS has also been updated for supported models, with watchOS 6.1.2 and there are no new features listed just the notes say this update “provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.” watchOS 6 can be updated from the watch itself or via a connected iPhone.

tvOS 13.3.1 released for Apple TV HD and 4K models

Along with iOS 13.3.1, watchOS 6.1.2 and other updates, Apple has also released a small update for the newer models of Apple TV. The forth generation and fifth generation models (HD and 4K) can now be updated to tvOS 13.3.1 which is a very minor update with bug fixes. Apple has not provided details on whats included in the update.

Tim Cook says Apple will donate to help the Coronavirus relief in China
